The Coordinated Development Between The Regional Economies And The Ecological Environment Synergistic Study In China: Based On Coupling Degree Model

Promoting the coordinated development of regional economy and ecologicalenvironment, is the route China must take to realize the sustainable development ofour economy. The ecological civilization construction was adopt to the overalldevelopment strategy layout at the Third Plenary Session of the eighteenth for thefirst time, which fully shows the importance of changing the mode of economicdevelopment. At present, domestic scholars have done a lot of research on thecoordination of regional economic development and ecological environment, but mostof them focused on the study of a single province or a single region, which lack ofdocuments based on interaction among the regions, and such studies remained instatic analysis level. As a result, this paper introduces coupling theory, to construct acoupling model, and make dynamic analysis of multi-dimension to our country’sdynamic coupling condition of regional economic and ecological environment, inorder to do some beneficial exploration to solve this problem.This paper first summarized related domestic and abroad references on the basisof existing researches, defined the concepts of coupling coordinated development. Atthe same time, regional economies system and the ecological environment system areanalyzed profoundly. The aspects below are focused in the paper: the stress constraintmechanism of regional economy and ecological environment interaction coupling, thestress effect of regional economic on the ecological environment, and the confinementeffect of the deterioration on the ecological environment. Subsequently,24indexes ofeconomic system and environment system are selected as our research object. Theempirical results are obtained by the qualitative analysis of regional economies andthe ecological environment between1900and2012, which based on the orderparameters method, constructing coupling model and coupling coordination degreemodel.Through all the theoretical mechanisms and empirical analysis, conclusion canbe draw as follows:(1) From the aspect of our whole country, the speed of theregional economies growth is much higher than the speed of the ecologicalenvironment improvement. The coupling and coupling coordinative between theregional economies and the ecological environment are much better than before.(2)On the Four Major Economic Plates, there are differences of the coupling and coupling coordinative between the regional economies and the ecologicalenvironment.(3)As for the Four Region, the level of the coupling development in theeastern region is the olive. The standard of the coupling development in the centralregion and northeast region is the inverted triangle while it is the triangle in westernregion. Finally, this paper put forward some specific policy recommendations, tryingto promote China’s regional economic and ecological environment coordinateddevelopment.
