A Study On The Impact Of Laos Investment Environment On Chinese Enterprises' Performance

China implement and promote the surrounding diplomatic strategy to further promote the cooperation and exchanges between China and Southeast Asian countries and regions in various fields. As China’s important neighboring countries of Laos for the southeast, is rich in resources, stable political and social environment, these factors attracted many Chinese enterprises to invest in, provide a good environment for Chinese enterprises to invest. Currently Laos ASEAN has become China’s third largest investment destination, China is also the largest investor in Laos, with whom trade and investment cooperation, strengthen economic ties with them, for our country "along the way" to promote the strategic layout, border enhance the level of openness has important strategic significance.Therefore, this article from the investment in Laos FDI enterprises microscopic point of view, the first in-depth understanding of the Lao local legal policy situation and changes, provide policy guidance for enterprises to invest; and then through field research on China is currently in Laos investment size, industry structure and investment motives analysis summary of investment trends and investment hotspots China in Laos; then build a comprehensive performance measurement system, FDI enterprises’ overseas institutions, for the performance of FDI enterprises overseas institutions evaluated; using generalized sequencer logit model to explore Laos local policy and environmental factors and business impact on investment performance and relationships affect performance, clear policy factors, environmental factors as well as the investment of time and management system.Based on the above research and analysis, we find that Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos scale into the stage of rapid growth, the two sides cooperate more closely, thanks to the friendly international relations, China and Laos and the Lao relatively stable social environment, but also benefit both sides preferential investment policies. The main driver of Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos is market-driven and strategy-driven, mostly small and medium enterprises on the scale. Industry distribution,the Chinese enterprises to invest in Laos in the second and third industries. For investment performance is concerned, the current Chinese investment in Laos business performance good momentum of development, overall performance to be improved. This Laos local tax policy is not clear, the financial support is not in place, investment services and other factors related to the imperfect, imperfect these policy factors severely restricted the further development of business performance, but stable Laos good market potential and legal policy of promoting the development of China-invested enterprises operating performance.
