Study On The Development Of Silk Road Economic Belt In Grassland

The Chinese President Xi jinping proposed the building of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road in September 2013 and October 2013, and the strategy of One Belt One Road followed by the formation. In September 2014, The President Xi jinping reached a consensus that putting the Silk Road Economic Belt with the Russia’s Trans-Eurasian Railway and the Mongolia Grassland Road for docking when he attended summit of three leaders of China, Mongolia and Russia. And to reach this consensus means the expansion of the area of the One Belt One Road, and the development and construction of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt was promoted to the national strategic level.The Steppe Silk Road had a long history which had laid a solid foundation for the development and construction of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt. And the rise,flourish and decline of the Steppe Silk Road were described. After that, this article analyzed the development of the Steppe Silk Road in the perspective of Geo Economy. Then this article started a concrete analysis of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt development including economic situation, industrial structure and international trade. At the same time, the article presented the influence factors of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt, including political and diplomatic factors, economic factors and cultural factors.The development of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt had important significance and advantages. From the perspective of Geo Economy, Inner Mongolia had the advantages of the three aspects of location, infrastructure and policy as the adjacent provinces with Mongolia and Russia in the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt development process. So it had basic conditions to build the Inner Mongolia as the core area of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt. The development direction of the Inner Mongolia as the core area of the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt were the international communication core, the transportation core and the core of logistics services.The One Belt One Road decided the overall opening form of the western, the eastern and the southern in China. And the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt would be open into the northern part of China’s opening up among the overall layout. And in order to better promote the Steppe Silk Road Economic Belt, this article put forward four suggestions. The first was improving laws and establishing trade mechanisms.The second was exploring our own advantages and deepening industrial cooperation. The third was promoting financial cooperation and resisting the financial risk. The forth was promoting cultural exchanges and scientific cooperation.
