Research On Quality Of Economic Development Of Xinjiang In The Context Of The Silk Road Economic Belt

The Silk Road Economy Belt strategy is an important measure,which is complying with the development of economic globalization and regional economic integration,meanwhile,it is an important strategy of constructing the pattern of all-round opening up and promoting the coordinated development of regions.As the core area of the Silk Road economy Belt,Xinjiang is located in Northwest China and bordered with eight countries,it takes up the task of building new power and realizing new breakthrough.So Xinjiang has to improve the quality of economic development,expand the scale of economy,concentrate all kinds of strengths,keep the improvement of quality and quantity,possess sufficient concentration and radiation.Improving the quality of economic development is the precondition of forming the new pole of growth and has an important significance for promoting the sustained and steady economic development and maintaining the prosperity and stability in Xinjiang.This article defines the connotation of the quality of economic development based on the relevant research results on quality of economic development and new requirements of the Silk Road Economic Belt.It considers that the quality of economic development includes the level of the quality and the efficiency,and then analyzes the quality of economic development in Xinjiang.Firstly,this article analyzes the situations and problems of economic development in Xinjiang.Secondly,This article bulids the theoretical framework and indicator system of quality evaluation that comprise Innovation,Compatibility,Greeness,Openness and Sharing,uses Entropy Weight model to evaluate the quality of economic development in Xinjiang,measures the efficiency of economic development by applying the TOPSIS method and then compares with provinces along the economic belt.Thirdly,this atticle establishes a theoretical framework of the influencing factors of economic development quality and analyzes the function routes of these influencing factors,Moreover,empirically analysis the influencing factors based on the data of Xinjiang by establishing the simultaneous equations model.Finally,some suggestions have been given for promoting the quality based on the comprehensive analysis of the quality of economic development in Xinjiang.This article reaches the following conclusions:(1)The quality of economic development in Xinjiang is continual rising and will remain the same tendency in several years,but stay in the lower level comparing with the provinces along the economic belt.the principal power of the rising is openness,sharing,Security provides a substantial foundation of it and coordination has little influence on it.(2)The efficiency of economic development in Xinjiang keeps ascending uninterruptedly,but there is a enormous distance from the ideal value,and it exist a great room for improvement.(3)Economic security and scale are the power of improving the quality;consumption,ecological stock,physical capital and the funds of ecological protection have a negative impact on the quality;trade scale,knowledge stock,human capital and ecological consumption have less influence on the quality.(4)Some suggestions were given to promote the quality based on the results and the realities of Xinjiang.
