Study On The Development Level Of Yunnan New Urbanization Industry

The most crucial part of new pattern urbanization is to provide more employment opportunities mainly through the industrial development, to stimulate the effect of industrial agglomeration, to absorb a large number of migrants, and then to gradually change the farmers of changed registered permanent residence to become citizens. The implementation of the new pattern urbanization needs the support of corresponded industries. Otherwise, the new pattern urbanization is just a castle in the air. The weakest link in the new pattern urbanization development in western China is the lack of industrial support, new cities and new towns will become the empty cities, these farmers of changed registered permanent residence will be hard to transfer to other jobs in the process of urbanization, so, the road of farmers’ citizenization is a very difficult historical process.Between 1978-2014, the rate of China’s urbanization increased from 17.9% to 54.77%,a total of 36.87percent and an average annual increased 1.02%. The report of the 18th National People’s Congress had built the concept of the new-type urbanization, and also believed that The core and key of new-type urbanization is mainly through the industrial development to provide enough jobs, to play the effect of industrial agglomeration, to absorb a large number of migrants, and to gradually make the transformation of the ZhuanHu farmer to citizen. But now, the development level of urbanization doesn’t match the industry level. The development of social and economic in Yunnan province is relatively left behind, and having more rural population, the steps of modern industrial development is slower than that of other provinces. The scale of cities in Yunnan province is smaller than those of other cities’. In recent years, under the leadership of the party and government, the development of urbanization had made some achievements, but it also have some problems. The power to pull the employment is unsatisfying, the scale of cities is small and there has been insufficient industry support and so on. Therefore, a study for a new evaluation index of urbanization is required to evaluate the level of new urbanization and industry development and to determine the deviation degree of the new urbanization and industrial development. This has a important realistic significance for Yunnan province and similar cities in the whole country to solve the shortage problem of industry support and promote urbanization.In this paper, on the basis of spatial economics and urbanization theories, the western region and 17 cities’ relevant data are used. It brings new industry development model of urbanization in Yunnan, Entropy value method, clustering analysis and partial analysis for the Yunnan province urbanization development stage, industrial development level and the deviation between the above. The paper analyzes the main problems and causes now existed in the process, and put forward the corresponding countermeasure on how to better promote the integration between Industry and urban.
