Research On Tax Service In Information Background

It is an essential duty for the tax authorities to provide excellent, efficient and convenient services for the taxpayers. It has been put forward at the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that: “we must improve the way the government providing public services and strengthen the construction of the grassroots social management and service system.” The taxpaying service work is the reflection of the full-hearted service for the people, and it is also a major action of building a service-oriented government and improving the way of government service. With the coming of the information era, internet era and big data era, the informational service offers the limitless possibilities for the taxpaying service from the aspects of time, space, content and method. Under the background of informatization, taxpaying service has become the theme of modern taxpaying service. Using the advantage of informatization to enlarge the taxpaying service attaches great importance to the reducing of taxation cost, improving the quality and efficiency of taxpaying service and building a service-oriented tax authority. It has also become a vital task for the current tax authorities.Under the background of building a service-oriented government and informatization construction, the local taxation in Yunnan province has already conducted many practices and innovation which receives remarkable results but still remains many problems. This paper uses the new public service theory, taxpaying compliance theory and the achievements of the construction of a service-oriented government in China, together with research methods of literature research method, comparative analysis method and statistical analysis method, by using the taxpaying service at local taxation in Yunnan province under the background of informatization as an example to analyze the exiting problems and solutions in the taxpaying service in the hope of offering countermeasures and suggestions to the local taxation in Yunnan province under the background of informatization.
