Research On The Interactive Development Of Industrialization And New Urbanization In Shanxi Province

Industrialization and urbanization are the two main themes of economic development. Along with the introduction of spatial clustering elements, the role of urbanization is more and more important and the research paradigm is gradually changing from the traditional one-way linear relationship to the two-way interactive mode. The development of industrialization has improved the regional production capacity, which provides material basis and technical support for the development of regional urbanization. At the same time, the improvement of regional urbanization level also provides the necessary production factors and the suitable space vector. The two are interdependent and interact with each other, and finally realize the benign interaction development of each other.This paper takes the industrialization and new urbanization development of Shanxi province as the research object, which takes the connotation of new urbanization and industrialization development as the basic idea and constructs the corresponding index system so as to carry on the quantitative measure and the analysis. Based on this, the paper carries on the thorough deviation analysis, vector auto regression model(VAR) and a coupling model for the interaction between the two were in-depth analysis. Accordingly, draw the main conclusions:First, at the beginning of the construction of industrialization of Shanxi Province the government plays an important role, which make it quickly formed a single embedded development model. Shanxi province depends on mining industry for a longtime, like coal mining, and the proportion of heavy industry is high and stable, but light industry development is serious lag. Lack of Technology, single industry and lack of capital become the bottleneck of the province’s industrial structure upgrading and economic restructuring.Second, before 2010, the level of urbanization in Shanxi Province was in the initial stage, but with the process of continuous deepening of industrialization, regional ecological environment, culture, education and social construction. The development speed have raised and then get a maximum value. After that, the velocity is gradually decreasing and the urbanization level is stable with a high standard.Third, Shanxi Province`s resource-based industrial system and abnormal industrial structure make the ability of attractiveness of the industry to the rural labor lowly and environmental pollution, which lead to small scale in Shanxi province urbanization. The new urbanization development lags behind, in turn restricts the of the province’s industrial structure upgrading and economic restructuring, the benign interaction between the two development level is low;Fourth, Shanxi Province industrialization and new urbanization development exists between the positive interaction, but the coupling coordination degree for a long time is in a relatively low level, and each other benign interaction development effect is low. The role of the province’s industrialization efforts of the new urbanization is obviously higher than the new urbanization to promote the industrialization efforts.
