With the development of tourism, more and more tourists realize that feeling something by heart is much more important than seeing something by eyes when visiting scenic areas. Modern tourists are seeking the special spiritual experience that is worth remembering. The correlative planning, such as tourism planning and landscape planning, must pay more attention to the tourists' spiritual remands, while not only to the concrete physical elements or projects. But nowadays, relative fields can't understand some basic conceptions completely and the basic theory research has lagged behind the practice. To solve the above problems, the thesis introduces the field concept from the physics and put forward the new concept landscape field. There are five parts of the thesis. The first part is the foreword that introduces the research background and primary contents of the thesis. The second part is the concept system of landscape field that including explaining the meaning of landscape on the basis of analyzing understandings of different subjects, introducing several relative field concepts, expounding the core concept landscape field and three different states of it. The third part is about constructing landscape field for the scenic areas. In this part, the thesis puts forward the principles and processes of constructing landscape field for the scenic areas. The fourth part is to demonstrate the above theory by constructing landscape field for a specific scenic spot, Wuxiang Temple scenic area of Lishui County in Nanjing. The last part summarizes four conclusions of the thesis. In a word, the research about landscape field would be beneficial for the tourism and landscape planning in theory and practice field.
