Thermoelectric Enterprise Supply Chain Issues

The thermoelectric enterprises have been facing serious loss since 2003, owning to the sharp increase of direct raw material—coal price and other causes. This article gives an analysis to the causes that thermoelectric enterprises are facing. The raising of water cost, and drainage cost other than the factor of increased raw material cost are the reasons to have increased the enterprise's cost, however, the pressure of increased online electricity price and heat price are tremendous, this is hard to increase the enterprise's finished product. These are the chief reasons to limit the development of enterprise. This article puts forward several ways for solving these problems based on the analyses and one of the ways is what this article is discussed: to make the supply chain of thermoelectric enterprises safe and efficient. The article firstly gives a brief introduction to the supply chain of the present thermoelectric enterprise through relevant data to explain the two links, purchasing management and storage management are the key to make thermoelectric enterprise safe and efficient. After enumerated the disadvantages of traditional purchasing concept, the article puts forward a new purchasing management mode based on the idea of supply chain, that is, 1. Advocate to cooperate with supplier; 2. Discuss in detail how "united purchase"is to thermoelectric enterprises, success and failure, and its enormous attraction to reduce the purchasing cost of thermoelectric enterprises. The loss for goods shortage is very important to thermoelectric enterprises, therefore, we must assure the material supply of thermoelectric enterprises. The article also analyses the characteristic that thermoelectric enterprises is to material demands, and then, puts forward methods of how to reduce the storage and enhance material demands: Move the suppliers's warehouse to thermoelectric enterprises by cooperate with suppliers and united purchasing, and form "material supermarket"or "deliver goods center"to avoid purchasing and transportation time to assure the production demand, and at the same time, reduce the enterprise storage. Finally, the article gives a report of feasibility study to the apply condition and application in thermoelectric of supply chain management, and puts forward attendant problems if thermoelectric enterprises carries out the idea of supply chain management to practice.
