| Since 1990, along with the fast development of integrative global economy and IT, the continuous increase of customers'personalized requirements, and the tremendous political, economic and social environmental changes, competition capability of enterprise has become a widely concerned topic. Besides enterprises, how to gain and maintain competitive advantages is also an always hot point in strategic management study and practice. Through research on competition capability of home electric appliances retail chain and Gome, the leading company, this study attempts to give a thorough analysis on the influence of customer focus strategy, supply chain management strategy, IT strategy and international strategy on Gome's competitive advantages together with some other related matters. The author hopes some opinions raised here could be valuable to the setting up and maintenance of the new competitive advantages of Gome. Meanwhile, it also illustrates some feasible operational practical suggestions to Gome. The study gives beneficial suggestions to Gome on how to form new competitive strategy and the future overseas expansion. It is also a useful material to the people who are interested in home electric appliances retail chain, study of competitive strategy and overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises. |
