Today, small and middle enterprise (SME) takes a important role in civil economy and society development in the world. In China, SME has a great important degree and contribution on offering more and more jobs , satisfying various social needs and so on. The development and prosperity of SME not only relate to the rise and fall of our social economy,but also relate to the prosperity and stability of our society.With the development of technology, the competition between companys is not much different on product quality ,product capability and service .It is very difficulty for consumer to recept the unique corporate charm from these similar products. The competition of the product has changed to the competition of corporate image.At the same time,the information explosion brought forth by the information revolution will lead to in- formation anxiety,and the consumers will be at loose ends.Besides, large enterprise is good at corporate image so that large enterprise is famous in the world, say,TCL, Haier and so on.Under this complicated circumstance,it will become the key in the market of SME how to get a good fame, and how to conform and shape its image , and how to propagandize itself effectively to the consumers in order to boost the corporate fame.The thesis clarifies the importance of corporate image in the development of SME, taking emphasis on the analysis of current status of SME image. Meanwhile, this thesis points out the keystones of shaping and propagandizing SME image. Finally, this thesis offers some detailed strategies with respect to establishing SME image. I hope these researches can be useful to direct the shaping and propagandizing of SME image.
