Computer Information System Integration Project Management Research

With the rapid development of information technology, the project of computer information system integration is becoming more and more complex, and the scale of the project is also becoming more and more bigger. Typical system integration projects' technology, environment, people, and requirements are developing quickly and changeful, and the management is very complex, besides some general traits of projects, like one-off, temporariness, and particularity. Traditional project management hasn't match the needs of system integration project. The industry of system integration needs more scientific and standard project management. The urgent task of system integration company is to bring project management into use.The article explains the staus of project management of system integration, analyzes the content of project management in initial phase , executive phase and finished phase, and analyzes the problem in the management of system integration project, including lacking projects scope management, running projects groups incompletely, and administrating projects risks unscientifically, etc. This article uses the theory about management of system integration projects to analyze the reasons that the problems of system integration projects come into being, and gives some accordingly improved countermeasures. At last, based the nine knowledge realm of the PMBOK project management, according to the base procedue of project management, the article discusses the project management of a practice system integration project, including the knowledge realm of scope management , group management and risk management.Through the study of project management of system integration project, the article aims to direct the system integration company to improve the efficiency of project management, short the period of project, reduce the cost of project, assure the quality of project and to win the best value and benefit.
