The Applied Research Of The Project Management In Information System Integration Project

The Project Management is a project-oriented system management method .Since it was introduced to our country in 1980's, it has already become an increasingly popular discipline and has been successfully applied in many industries. Information system integration industry which starts late but develops rapidly is an emerging industry.For the typical project-based organizations, such as information system integration company, the success of the project directly affects the development of the organization, and project management for the importance of the industry is self-evident. Over the past decade, at the base of ensuring the level of basic technology,China's information system integration industry has begun to focus on the use of project management approach to the management of the actual item , and has summarized a lot of successful experience. However, because there is no set of systematic and well-established project management method,many items has serious problems such as cost overruns and progress extension,so the project management level of this industry needs to be improved.Based on reading and referring the literature which involves the industry application of project management theory widely and substantial,this paper decides to adopt a theoretical and case study combined research method and research information System Integration Project from the perspective of information management.The full paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter points out the main research background, status quo, significance, content, methods and possible innovations.The second chapter analyzes the project management's definition, five important characteristics such as the complexity and creativity,and the development status and its globalization, diversity, specialization trends.The third chapter analyzes the system integration project management's status, process and development direction.The forth chapter is the case research part of this paper, and this part mainly discusses a successful launch of a typical system integration project case - a People's Court Technology Project in accordance with the basic process of project started, planning, implementation, control and ending.The fifth chapter makes specific recommendations in the scope management, team management and communication management to improve project management strategy. The last chapter recommends the conclusion and outlook of this paper.
