Based On The Agricultural Product Processing Industry To Promote Hunan Farmers' Income

While the increase rate of farmers' income slows down, the momentum of increasing income gap between rural areas and urban areas does not fully harmonize with the establishment of relatively well off society, harmonious society and socialistic new rural areas. The imbalanced development of rural economy will probably result to the intensification of social conflicts, and will affect social stability and state's security. Therefore the solution to the issue of increasing farmers' income is not only an economic issue but also a political issue, and attracts great importance from Party's Central Committee and State Council. To settle down conflict between the low increase rate of farmers' income and the high-speed development of national economy, the key point is to accelerate to probe into the breakthrough point of increasing farmers' income and crucial factors. Now there are all kinds of crucial factors, such as agricultural resources factor, production cost factor, agricultural products marketing prices factor, science, technology and equipment factor, system and mechanism factor, agricultural structure optimization factor and so on. These factors all exert certain influence over the issue of increasing fanmers' income, though their margin is limited.In order to realize the steady and stable increase of farmers' income, the key methods are to devote major efforts to developing agricultural products processing industry, to increase agricultural products added value and agricultural internal overall return rate, to increase agricultural itself economic development capacity and fanmers' selves income generating capacity, to promote the transfer of farmers to industry and tertiary industry, to enable farmers to obtain huge benefits from agriculture itself and non-agricultural sector.
