Research On Problems Of Heyuan Farmers'Income Increase

With the development of the Chinese rural economics and society,the importance of the problem of the farmers' income is shown more clearly and increasingly among issues concerning agriculture,countryside,and farmers.Thus the problem of farmers' income increase,is always the starting point and the destination of the development of agriculture and the rural economics as well as the core of issues concerning agriculture,countryside,and farmers.As a result,our country has gradually increased the strength of the support of the countryside in all aspects.Since the foundation of Heyuan City in 1988,although the level of farmers' income has greatly increased in general,and the residents' personal disposable income in the countryside has been grown up from 520 yuan in 1988 to 13301 in2017,it doesn't reach the average level of the whole country at the same time.Besides,there's a big gap with the average level of the whole province.Judging by the state of the city,the situation that the countryside lags behind as a whole hasn't been changed basically and the problem of the farmers' income is still waiting to be solved.Heyuan City lies in the north of Guangdong and it is in a mountainous area.So it is weak in the development of the economic society as well as the urbanization level.Thus it is very difficult to win the poverty eradication.In the background of the times of vigorously implement the strategy of revitalizing the development of Guangdong North East and West and Guangdong Hong Kong-Macau Dawan District in Guangdong and deepen the coordinated development of urban and rural areas throughout the province,it's very important to try to increase the farmers' income.Based on income growth theory and sustainable development theory,this article aims at demonstrating the main problem of Heyuan farmers' income by thoroughly analyzing the current status of their income,including their total income,income structure,income gap between urban and rural areas and so on,by means of Literature Research and Comparative Analysis.Next,reasons for Heyuan farmers' increased income are also analyzed.And there are some internal reasons,for example,industrial structure which is not optimized,frequent volatility of agricultural prices,low level of technology application,low scale of operations and low cultural quality of farmers.Besides,there are also some external causes,overall lag in regional economic development,inadequate systems and policies and weak investment in agricultural public goods.On that basis,the research of strategies on how to increase Heyuan farmers' income is made.The advice of specific responses is offered from two aspects,the internal factors and external factors,in keeping with the principles ofsustainable development.Internal income increase countermeasures include five aspects,reasonable adjustment of industrial structure,unleashing the potential for income generation within agriculture,improving the level of agricultural science and technology services,promoting agricultural industrialization and extending industrial chain and improving the cultural quality of farmers.External income increase countermeasures include two aspects,strengthening the implementation of reforms and increasing investment in public agricultural products.
