Innovative Features Of The Traditional Industrial Clusters Based On The Knowledge-flow Perspective

Last century, industry cluster had gradually become an important economic phenomenon. The advantage of the industry cluster is the competence which the non-cluster companies don't have. On the other hand, today's competition is picking up gradually. Consequently, the capability of innovation has become very important. Accordingly, the industry cluster's innovation capability has become a significant factor to keep its competence advantage.This thesis based on traditional industry cluster, took the knowledge transmitting way as the door of this study. Then this thesis found out four ways of knowledge transfer, six innovation resources and three knowledge networks. Surrounding these, we educed the academic model of the thesis, and then we analyzed the characters of industry cluster's innovation from the dynamic point. From the study of the case, we found that the ways of knowledge transfer act different roles in transfer of knowledge and changed with the development of the industry cluster. The amount of innovation resources was relatively small and the knowledge exploitation network was accordingly weak. Thus it can be seen that in industry cluster the innovation spillover and non-original innovations were relatively abundant, but the original innovations were short, most of the original innovations came from the outside innovation resources.
