| Logistics is one of the most widely used industries in the modern society, and it's not only the benchmark of the economy but also the engine as well. Accelerating logistics development is conducive for driving new industrialization, upgrading relevant industries, and enhancing the regional comprehensive competitiveness.Bohai Sea Economic Circle is one of the most dynamic regions in China.Tianjin is the important hub and port city of north China with logistics as the key industry. Therefore, it's of strategic significance to study on the logistics development setting foot on Tianjin.This paper, supported by the regional economic theory, supply chain and the fourth-party logistics theory, studies on how to promote the logistics development of Bohai Sea Economic Circle.This paper can be divided into six parts. Firstly, it offers a definition and significance of modern logistics. Secondly, based on the status quo, the paper concludes the general features and the developing trend of this industry. Thirdly, by comparison, it points out the comparative advantages and weakness of Tianjin logistics. Fourthly, it emphases on the opportunities at home and abroad such as the 2008 Olympics, the grand western development program, China's entry to WTO so on and so forth. Fifthly, the paper induces the logistics operation research theory, predicts the demand in 2010 and gives forth to the specific development objectives. Sixthly, in general, it offers the countermeasures of promoting the logistics development of Bohai Sea Economic Circle such as settling the problems from infrastructures, information system, scientific research and industrial policy.
