The Research On The Effects Of Industrial Structure Change On Economic Growth In Guangdong Province

Scholars began research on the relationship between industrial structure and economic growth in 1672, many years has passed, the point that reasonable industrial structure can promote economic growth has become the consensus of scholars. Especially now, after years of rapid development today, the industrial structure promoted by the economic growths is dramatically changes at the beginning of reform and opening up, sustained economic growth relies on a new round of industrial structure upgrade. It is great significant to study the influence of the change of industrial structure on economic growth. This article focuses on the influence the industrial structure change on economic growth of Guangdong province, which was the forefront of reform and opening-up, this paper hope this research on Guangdong province show reference value to other places.This paper first defines the relevant concepts of the industrial structure and economic growth, reviews the domestic and foreign scholars’ classical theory about the relation between industrial structure and economic growth, combing their views on related issues, on this basis, summed up the theory foundation of the industrial structure change influence on the economic growth. This paper then describes the economic growth of Guangdong province, the industrial structure change process, summarizes the distribution of industry inside each area of Guangdong province and the status quo of the industrial structure.On the basis of above analysis, this paper draws the following conclusions:(1) The rationalization of industrial structure, high-grade changes of industrial structure and service-rization of industrial structure in Guangdong province show significant effects on economic growth.(2)When making industrial policy, we must take rationalization of the industrial structure,high-grade of the industrial structure and service-rization of industrial structure into account.
