Three Gorges Reservoir Construction In The Study

The Three Gorges Reservoir area is an area with poor economy and frail ecology environment. Since the start of the Three Gorges project, the four problems (emigrants' reorganization, ecology reconstruction, economy transformation, shaking off poverty and making fortune) have become the principal tasks there. Among them, the problems of emigration and the economy environment have been regarded as the two difficult problems in the world. The traditional way of development is facing serious challenge. It needs new thought, new way and new model to develop the Three Gorges Reservoir area. Making use of the theories relating to ecologic economics, industrial ecology and the ecosystem industry, this paper has deeply analyzed the problem how to construct the ecosystem industry system so that the Three Gorges Reservoir area can develop continually better.Firstly, it introduces the background, significance of the topic and the related theories. It points out the reason and significance of the research through the introduction of the two difficulties in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and the analysis, summary of the present research and practice in and abroad. It also illustrates the theories of the ecosystem industry construction, ecologic economics and industrial ecology, and proposes the theory pattern of the ecosystem industry system construction.Secondly, the paper analyzes the state of the ecosystem industry system construction in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. By the analysis of the social economy and ecology development there, it proves the necessity to construct the ecosystem industry system in the Three Gorges Reservoir area. By the analysis of the overall object of the ecologic economy development, it proves the difficulty to construct the ecosystem industry system there. And by the contrastive analysis of the necessity and difficulty, it proves the uniqueness of the construction and points out inevitability to the choice.Then, the paper constructs the pattern to develop the ecosystem industry system in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and analyzes the case. By the analysis of advantageous conditions there and the previous experiences and patters, it points out the macro frame and the quality of reference, creativity of the construction. By the analysis of the case of Wu Ling(a town in Chongqing), it further illustrates quality of the realization and operationFinally, according to the peculiarity and state of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, it proposes the related measures to further perfect the ecosystem industry system. Then it concludes the paper and points out the creative point and limitations.In short, making use of the theories relating to ecologic economics, industrial ecology and the ecosystem industry, this paper has deeply analyzed the social economy of the Three Gorges Reservoir area and the case of Wu Ling Town. Focused on the construction of the ecosystem industry system, it also has worked out a system of regional ecosystem industry. It is hoped that this pattern will be of some demonstrative and primitive help.
