With the integration of the world economy, the trade between our country and other nations grows quickly, and the throughput keep a high velocity increase, which gives a newer and higher requirement of the handling technics and handling equipment technology of the port.The layout and management of the port faces tremendous challenge. How to use the limited area and resource of the port to efficiently accomplish the handling work has been a momentous task to the erectors and the governors of the port.The port is the collecting and distributing centre of the goods; it is the important pivots of the contemporary urban goods and materials. The port is starting point and terminal point of the water transportation , feed through the railway, highway, inland river , or even aviation transport network, it is that the whole goods circulate in the chain a large amount of is concentrated. But domestic in the port railway cargo disperses the share which occupies quite to be also low, speeds up our country port railway construction, is enhances the harbor wharf to disperse the ability an important action.At present the international trade main body is gradually changed from the traditional bulk cargo transportation to the container traffic; the container freight volume continues the high speed growth. How to enhance port railway ablitity of the container transportation, thus the promotion harbor volume of goods handled, is a question which urgent needs to solve. This article mainly aimed at the port railway the container loading and unloading transportation modelling, through the Witness simulation, provided the reference for the harbor railway construction development.This paper has reviewed the question existing at present in development trends and containerized transport of our country of the domestic and international railway logistics of container terminal at first, then systematic research railway container logistics system, analyse to the modeling of the dispersed dynamic incident, in order to use it for the railway logistics system modeling of container terminal.Secondly, the thesis discusses the modeling theory of port railway logistics system-------queue network theory and analyses the application of this theory in portrailway queue system. Based on this, the thesis discusses the main research work of the port railway queue system. Then the author combines the queue network theory with port railway queue systems, and discusses the steady state indications of the port railway queue systems.Thirdly, the thesis discusses the modeling theory of container terminals production system based on the theory of disperse event dynamic system, On the basis of the layout of the port railway and rules of its loading and unloading. Utilized witness software—a kind of professional simulation software, the author accomplish mumerric simulation of the port railway logistics system and can realize computer dynamic simulation which can simulate the dynamic process of container's loading and unloading process.At last, according to the computer simulation models, the thesis analyses different questions aim at different purpose, such as: the logical scheme of port railway machines, the optimization of port railway machine attempter, the affect that some kinds of working environment effect on the port railway's work, and the most high-point throughput of the port railway and its bottle-neck, All this provides the decision support for the terminal manegement.
