With the guidance of relevant strategy management theory and domestic and abroad strategic research results, combined with inter-trade enterprise annexation strategy, this thesis makes the development strategy for Midea passenger train through the case study of Midea Group annexing passenger train enterprises by the research method of real example. Meanwhile, the author of the thesis hopes to. give advices both for the formulation of enterprise development strategy of passenger train industry and for the strategical integration of the present domestic inter-trade enterprises mergering.By studying, the thesis states that the private enterprises should not make the investment blindly in passenger train industry at present because of overheated investment, overcapacity, decreased market demands and malignant competition. Passenger train enterprises are enterprises of the typical scale effect, which need huge investment but low benefit in previous stage. For those enterprises entering newly, they should study the market seriously, make feasible strategy, put itself in right position, and must keep in mind to against being eager for quick success. Chinese enterprises of passenger train should hold the opportunities that new energy sources, new power and environmental protection and power-saving technology bring to passenger train industry carefully, seize the commanding point of the new-type passenger train, intensify exporting activities, take the road to internationalization, which are effective ways to solve problems existing at present suchas domestic overcapacity and malignant competition in Passenger train industry.This thesis also hold the opinion that Midea Group can hopefully enter into the top three of Passenger Train industry within 8 years, and become the international well-known manufacturing enterprises of passenger train, provided Midea Group can make use of its unique resource advantages, make detailed strategy implementation plan, adopt effective competitive strategy and tactics, utilize the right products and target market orientation, keep away from the enemy's main forces and strike the weak points. Meanwhile, it is also of great importance for Midea to emphasize strategic organizational framework and relevant strategic supplementary measures, to guarantee the effective implementation and control of strategy.
