The history evolution rule and new china's practical experience are both indicate that none but separating the fanners from the soil, the hope from the peasant life to modernization in china can then come true. Then, accelerating urbanization not only confirm with the development of national economy, but also is the basic approach to fulfill multi-aspects' interests. In the process of urbanization, some farmlands will change to be non-farmland. Under china's current land policy, the main approach is land expropriation. In this process of land expropriation, the farmers' interests were always damaged, leading dissatisfaction of most farmers whose land was expropriated, and some farmers even appeal to the government in some districts. All these phenomena were deeply concerned by academia and the relational governments, and the innovation of land expropriation policy had been on the time schedule of our central government. On this background, targeting the land expropriation policy and the expropriated farmers, this thesis tries to discuss the actualized process of land expropriation, and the expropriated farmers' replying behaviors during and after the process of expropriation. In chapter two the thesis has systematically summarized the research dynamics of land expropriation domestic and overseas. In chapter three the thesis describe the practical process of land expropriation in the research field. In chapter four the thesis do research on the "fair process effect" empirically in the process of land expropriation and the farmers' replying behaviors. In chapter five the thesis deeply study the actuality of the expropriated farmers' life, working and social security.Through the literature research, normative analyses and experiential analyses above-mentioned, the research work and conclusion of the thesis are innovative in academy on following several aspects: (1) Do field research in the process of land expropriation, through research data and practical cases, open out the problems which exist in current land expropriation policy. (2) Applying the conclusion "Fair process effect" in the field of social psychology to the field of land expropriation, through the experiential study on the expropriated farmers, get the conclusion that theexpropriated farmers not only concern about the outcome of expropriation, and to some extent they are more concerned about the procedure of expropriation. (3) Experientially studying the actuality of expropriated farmers' life, working and social security, and analyses the influencing factors of expropriated fanners' life satisfaction. The experiential research of the thesis provides some feasible suggestions on policy. Nowadays the experiential research is hard to see at home, and this dissertation is an exploration research in certain meaning. The experiential research is only limited to one county in Zhe-Jiang province, and there is no time span on the samples, so the dependability of research conclusions remain to be examined. The research in future needs to try best on the time span, and continue to study the behaviors and the influencing factors of expropriated farmers' life, working, and so on.
