The technology alliance, a cooperation mode in technology innovation among enterprises, has been considered by more and more enterprises as an effective means to seek for technology advancement in the knowledge era. But due to the China's special conditions, the randomness in the technology alliance has affected the learning result of enterprise in the technology alliance, producing hindrance for knowledge to effectively transfer across boundaries. So how to take counter measures to improve the learning result according to different kinds of technology alliance will be a key problem when the technology alliance is established, which implies the meaning this research resides. Based on the literature review, this paper firstly classifies the elements which affect the learning result of enterprise in the technology alliance as learning content, self-learning ability, learning attitude and relationship, and divides the technology learning action as acquisition, sharing and use of technology knowledge by the theory of knowledge spiral-creation, and sorts the technology alliance from the view of learning. The paper then theoretically analyses the elements that affect the learning action according to the different technology alliance. After the theoretical analysis, the paper puts forward the empirical model and hypothesis, and then investigates 53 manufacture enterprises from some regions of the country by interview and questionnaire, and finally analyses the result of questionnaire by the software of SPSS. According to the result of investigation and analysis, several important conclusions are drawn. The paper concludes:At present in china, few competitive synchronized-learning technology alliances exist. For the non-synchronized-learning technology alliance and the non-competitive synchronized-learning technology alliance, the elements have different effects to learning action, that is, the learning attitude and self-learning ability have important effect in the both technology alliances, but the learning content and relationship have more effect in the non-competitive synchronized-learning technology alliance than in the non-synchronized-learning technology alliance; the effect of geographic distance can be ignored; the sharing of technology knowledge has most important effect on improvement of technology innovation capability.Furthermore, this paper gives the suggestions about how to overcome different elements which effect technology learning to provide the theoretical guidance for enterprises to better learn technology in the technology alliance.
