The article provides a brief introduction about the industrial e-business developmentand study of the strategic development on the e-commerce business operation.E-business has made a great progress in recent years due to its advantages of fastcommunication, easy operation and high information integrity. Especially, the e-commercewith the industrial background has achieved even larger progress. The conglomeratedescribed in the article initiated to build up the e-business platform in the early of 2003with the aim of establishment of a united brand through utilization of the group's intangibleassets.The platform is founded by the conglomerate Corporation. It is supported by theconglomerate Corporation and its affiliated enterprises, institutions, as well as suppliersand clients. It integrated China aviation industry's market, product, service and information.eAVIC delivers much more than a place to buy and sell goods.The functions of the platform includes: issuance of enterprise supply and demandinformation;advertisement of enterprise and its products;multiform of purchase functions,including catalogs purchasing, auction and RFQs (Request for Quotation);multiformselling functions, including catalogs distribution, auction, reply to the buyer's Inquiry, andso on;the notification of receiving buyer's order;the statistical functions for membersexchange information;as well as off-line support and service, etc.The initial established function of the platform now could not meet all therequirement of the affiliated enterprises, it should keep on to expanding and consummatingits service's items, and also need to craft the operating strategy which can facilitate thestrategy of the grand industry Corporation .The author of the article uses the analytical tools to analyze the externalenvironments and the resource and competitive position of the platform operating agency,and craft the strategy of the company. The author also states how to execute the strategy,include building a capable organization and actions that facilitate strategy execution.
