The Role Of Brazil At The WTO And Strategy

Since the foundation of WTO, Brazil has continued to carry out the reform of tradeliberalization and enhance the transparency of its trade regime. The average appliedMFN tariff decreased to10.4% when WTO finished the Trade Policy Review of Brazilin 2004 and the import licensing applies to goods also reduce a lot. These measureshave made the Brazil's economic development more flexible and diversified and therole of trade in promoting the economic development to become increasinglyimportant.Brazil is actively participated in WTO and makes full use of the multilateral tradenegotiation mechanism and dispute settlement system of WTO.
