Nanjing Museum Tourism Development

By using the museum science , tourism science, economics, marketing and systematic theory and coordination theory, the author defines the concepts of museum tourism and its development model and also comparts the styles of museum tourism resource. Then the author analyzes the characteristics of the resource and the tourist origins of Nanjing museum tourism. After clarifying the existing problems of Nanjing museum tourism and discuss how it forms, the author constructs the development model of Nanjing museum tourism. At last , the paper gives seven ways to solve the existing problems.This thesis consists of seven parts as follows:Part one is the preference which is about the frame of the thesis, including the background, purpose, meaning and the methods.Part two analyzes the characters of museum tourism, studies the relationship between the museum industry and tourism industry and then gives the summary of the museum tourism research at home and abroad.Part three firstly gives the dividing principles of museum tourism resource, according which the author divides the resource of Nanjing museum tourism into three kinds. Then it introduces the main museums in Nanjing and constructs the evaluation system of museum tourism resource.Based on the investigation of the market at home, chapter four analyzes the characteristics of tourists coming to visit Nanjing museums.Part five clarifies the problems existing in the Nanjing museums and finds the reasons from the perspective of economics.Part six constructs the development model of Nanjing museum tourism from three layers.The seventh part gives some suggestions on how to solve the problems from the aspects of money, human resource, managing ideas, marketing and so on.
