The Agricultural Bank of China Linzi Branch has developed a lot in recent years. Not only does it always take first in the whole city's comprehensive assess, but also it has a first increase in the deposits quantity for two successive years. In the late June of 2005, its deposits amount is the biggest among the Four Stateowned Business Banks. And it also has made the most profits among the banking interests. Its jumping development is just a miniature of the local economics, which at the same time draws much professional attention. So one issue is that what kind of competitive strategy Linzi bank needs if it wants to keep developing increasingly.Just in such a background, I, as a member of this bank, write this thesis.First, according to the bank's changing environment and violent competition, I think it is urgent and necessary to find out our own competitive strategy.Then, I analyze both the outside environment which brings chances and threats and the inside system which has advantages and disadvantages. And then, on the basis of the analyses above, I connect Porter' s common competitive strategy with Arnold Hakes' triangle strategy.At last, the strategy for Linzi bank comes out. That is "the lead of the cost under the solutions of customers" .Meanwhile, in order to support the strategy to carry out, the bank itself should take measures in these seven aspects: the organizing system, the laboring administration, the high-qualities service, the company' s culture, enhancing customers system, the cost administration and the inner administration.
