With the rapid development of insurance industry in China, there is an urgent demand to enhance the management level of insurance companies. However, the premiums receivable problem has disturbed the management of many non-life companies in China for a long time. It is not beneficial for insurance companies to carry out the measures of control and management. In addition, it's possible to damage the stability of operation. Obviously, it's necessary for non-life insurance companies to tackle the premiums receivable problem. In this dissertation, the author firstly introduces the basic situation about the premiums receivable problem at present, then analyses the factors affecting the problem. In the end, the author attempts to draw a framework to solve the problem.The whole thesis consists of an introduction and 4 chapters.The introduction discusses briefly the research background, presents the analysis framework employed in the research, outlines the structure of the thesis and explains the methodology used etc.Chapter one states the basic situation about the premiums receivable problem of non-life insurance company in China. Firstly, it defines the meaning of"premiums receivable dilemma". The author points out that the premiums receivable of non-life insurance companies not only is a finance phenomenon, but also gets an obstacle to strengthen management of insurance companies. For many non-life insurance companies, it's still difficult to deal with the problem under full recognition. So it's called the"premiums receivable dilemma". Secondly, on the basis of the current state of non-life insurance companies'premiums receivable in China, the author analyses the characteristics, the damages and form styles of premiums receivable.
