Minority Areas Of Economic Growth And Volatility Analysis

The economic development of ethnic regions has tow contents: the development of regional economy and the development of ethnic minority groups. Research on the economic growth and fluctuations of ethnic regions is of great significance to explore the relationships between the development of regional economy and the self-development of ethnic groups as well as the policies towards the different ethnic regions in the evolution of economic and social development. The analysis on growth and fluctuation of the ethnic regional economy shows that the trend is basically same with the national economy. Research shows that the main engine of economic growth in the ethnic regions is the growth of investment since the establishment of the new China. After the reform and opening-up, the economic growth in ethnic minority regions entered into a more rational, more stable and more rapid development stage, especially over the past decade, the internal development factors of ethnic regional economy is emerging and gradually developing. In order to make this momentum to continue in the coming 5 to 10 years, there need more different policies towards different ethnic regions. Moreover, the economic growth and fluctuation in ethnic regions were timely lagged behind since the 1990s, which played as a significant stabilizer to the national economic growth.
