On Eco - Tourism And Sustainable Development Of China's Tourism Industry

Tourism, as a symbol of modern civilization, has become the largest industry in the world although it has a history of only 100years. Within the traditional development framework, negligence of the impact of tourism on environment has threatened the sustainable development of tourism. Since 1980s', with the further deepening of the concept of sustainable development, modern tourism has entered into a new stage of sustainable development. Eco-tourism, as an effective way of realizing tourism sustainable development, has attracted people's attention all round the world.At first this article simply describes some of the trouble with which China-tourism has been faced and meanwhile analyzes the reason of that then comes out the conclusion that the sustainable development of tourism is very important in China, at the same time this summing-up depends on the comparison with the traditional China tourism. In the second part of this article, the author explains the background and basic theory of Eco-tourism which has a profundity of research foundation. Then the author deliberately emphasizes the importance of cultural Eco-tourism for reason of that natural Eco-tourism has prevailed in the world, Eco-tourism is superior then the traditional tourism. Then the author has expatiated on the relationship between Eco-tourism and sustainable development of China tourism that was a kind of process mixed with interaction and unification . they are not equal with each other but different. Finally in the end of the article the author has proposed to resolve the problem of China sustainable development of Eco-tourism such as: first protection then development; renewing the concept; reforming the circumstance of innovation; strengthening the propagand, the technology, the science, the legal system and Eco-morality and so on.
