Guizhou Province In The Southern Region Farmers' Income Gap Between The Empirical Study

This thesis proceeds with the current situation of income differential among peasant families from the two villages in the southern district of province Guizhou, then analyses the causes of income differential, and concludes with an analysis of the problems to restrict enhancement of the families's income. On the basis of the analysis, we put forth some countermeasures to enhance peasant's income. The statistical results indicates that there is a great difference under mean line of income .In addition, there is a large gap between various of income form dissimilar source. By analyzing the cause of income differential we draw an conclusion.The difference of the labor resource of peasant family in quality and the quantity difference of the laborers employed in non-agricuture vacation, which results in income differential among the peasant families.At present, there are problems of restricting economy development in the southern district of province Guizhou. First of all, the quantity of pool population is large, and new pool population come form. Second, the labor disthesis is so low as to restrict agricultural economy development and increasing of peasant's income. Third, the capacity of agricultural output is lower to have an important effect on agricultural income of peasant family. Finally, the laborer of countryside face with a difficulty in transferring for employment. To resolve the above problems, the countermeasures are as follows: Firstly, advance strategic adjustment on the frameworks of agriculture for improving rate of agricultural output. Secondly, improve the disthesis of population of countryside. Thirdly, broaden the channel of employment to transfer and control agricultural population for enhancing their employment chance. In the end, continue to strengthen the birth control in countryside.
