China Holiday Sustainable Economic Development

Since late 1990' s, the domestic demand is absent and it seriously hampers the economy from increasing fast. Holiday economy emerges together with "gold week" for National Day on October in 1999. It greatly stimulates the consuming and improves the domestic demand. The facts show that the development of holiday economy is producing a profound influence to national economy's healthy development. It is an important topic for China to study how to make holiday economy keep a continuable development and let it become the new, stable increasing force for economy. The thesis demonstrates continuable development of holiday economy mainly through the combination of norm analysis and fact analysis, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, the domestic study and international comparison, etc.Firstly, a research on the emergence, development and present condition of holiday economy is made. The background and the cause of holiday economy' s emergence is analyzed, put forward the notion of it, study the characteristic, development of holiday economy and the necessity of insisting "gold week " system, discuss the notion of the continuable development of holiday economy and it' s function to economy and society. Secondly, I have a research on the theories of holiday economy's development. The social reproduction theory, the relation theory of supply and demand and economy development rule theory discovers inevitability and the motive of continuable development of holiday economy. Thirdly, the negative factors that restrict the continuable development of the holiday economy are analyzed, mainly including information dissymmetry leading to the unbalance between supply and demand in holidays, the shortsighted of businessmen and the consumers ' not mature, the pollution of ecosystem and environment, the unperfected industry system, the low consumption rate, etc. Forth, I generalize the experience of foreign country about continuable development of holiday economy through international comparison research.
