Dual Economy Superposition In The Context Of Economic Globalization And China Countermeasures

Dual economy theory is the important theory of development economics , it was introduced into China in the 1980's of the 20th century。Reflecting the objective laws of contradictory movement in the process of urban and rural development in developing countries, the theory has aroused high attention of the Chinese economists, which led many experts and scholars to publish books and articles to analyze dual economy structure of China. However, these books often preferred to Chinese urban and rural economic structure, or the eastern and western regions of the dual economic structure in a single statement, which focused on the transverse analysis between the advanced uni-economy and the backward uni-economy of the dual economic structure .Chinese dual economy has many features with the mixtures of urban and rural, geographical, strong and weak aspects. Under the circumstances of economic globalization, Chinese dual economic structure has different levels -- not only facing domestic dual economic structure, but also facing a global sense dual structure of developed and developing countries.Out of the horizontal analytical model of China's dual economic structure, the paper conducts the vertical systematic analysis about the dual economy of China on different levels, pointing out that China's largest special economic duality is the multiple overlapping. Through analyzing the relations between the overlapped two parts of the dual economy of China, the paper puts forward the countermeasures. The paper consists of four parts.Firstly, the introductory part includes putting forward of the problem, the purpose and meaning of the selection of the paper, the status quo research summary of the dual economy and the structure arrangement of the paper.Secondly, the paper analyzes the current overlapping situation of China's dual economy, defines the concept of the dual economy, explains the core-periphery theory, describes the dual economy of the eastern and western regions, the dual economic structure of the urban and rural areas, the state of the strong and weak groups which China now faces.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the relations among the four levels of the dual economy abovementioned. Through theoretical and empirical analysis by establishing the overlapping model, the paper points out the main problems and causes of leading to the dual economic overlap of China.Fourthly, though analyzing the overlapping of China's dual economy, the paper puts forward the polices and suggestions about the structural transformation of China's dual economy.Under the circumstances of the economic globalization, through analyzing the...
