Preliminary Study Of The Socio-economic Geographical Structure In The Process Of Urbanization In Kunming

Regional economic difference extension would cause many conflicts on the economy, politics, and may cause the society and political uneasy, influent economy development seriously, even cause the modernization break down. The urbanization involves population movement, economy development, the space extension, ideas changing etc. and is closely related with economic difference. Kunming is the center city of Yunnan Province, the unbalance of the social and economic development in the progress urbanization influents the exaltation of whole economic power in Kunming City and the following development of the economy. The study of regional structure in Kunming City helps realize comparatively well-off society in Kunming City , be advantageous to the economic development of Yunnan Province, be advantageous to the western region development of the whole country, and also be the problem which should be resolved immediately in future development in Kunming City.This article uses substantial datas to analyze the changing process of economic difference in the last 20years in Kunming City, carries on a research to the region structure of social economic development in Kunming City from the time, series, the space order aspect. The analytical result shows, in the last 20 years, the absolute difference, opposite difference, comprehensive difference of the regional economy in Kunming are all in continuously the extension, and express regional unbalance of the space order and the unsteady characteristic of changing time series. On the basis of analysis of substantial evidence, the usage of SPSS software to compare the index sign of the economicdifference-----absolute difference, opposite difference, the Sigma, the variationcoefficient and the Gini coefficient to draw up to match, finds out the variety regulation of economic difference in Kunming City, and establishs model, from the match result of 20 years datas to see, absolutely difference and the Sigma match a curve model, the gini coefficient matches the line model, from 10 years datas to see, absolutely difference and the Sigma can build up line model.This article uses the non-agriculture, population as the level of urbanization to study the progress of urbanization in Kunming City from 1949 to 2004 and the relativity of the urbanization level and economic difference in the last 20 years in Kunming Cities, discovers the level of urbanization is related to the economic difference in Kunming City, absolute difference, opposite difference, the Sigma and the Gini coefficient is related to the level of urbanization positively , and absolute difference, the Sigma ,the Gini coefficient and the level of urbanization can build up the second curve models.Aim at the result of the substantial evidence analysis, after comparation of various development strategies, we think the future development in Kunming City should adopt continuous development strategy, which needs the integral development of urban and rural, education development and spreading of science and technology in underdevelopment region, the building of the transportation network, the strengthen of the regional cooperation and the constructing of software and hardware environment to reduce economic gap.
