Jinan City, Tourism Resources Development

Tourism is the combination of object(touristic resources), subject(tourists) and the intermediary(tourism).Touristic resources is the foundation of tourism development and the precondition of tourism planning and exploitaton of touristic resources. Touristic resources is a comprehensive technology of translating resources into products. The result of tourism development largely depends on the exploitation of touristic resources. With the development of tourism, touristic resources and exploitation increasingly become the concern of touristic circle at home and abroad.The standard of tourism exploitation falls into three categories: the touristic resources factors, market factors and competitive factors of touristic products, which are all essential. Exploitation cannot go only with resources but without markets. Touristic products without innovation and complementarity cannot go into operation even with resources and market. Nowadays, with the constant development of commence and society, the diversifying trend of touristis' demands becomes increasingly obvious. Only with constant in-depth exploitation or exploiting new touristic resources, the demand of tourists can be meet and a sound and sustainable development can be ensured.According to the theory of tourism exploitation, this paper focuses on the touristic resources in Jinan. Jinan, known as the spring city, is a good wealth of touristic resources. In the past years, with the development of its economy, the touristic resources exploitation and the building of touristic infrastructure are gaining momentum. As a result, tourism has become the pillar industry of national economy and achieved a lot. On the other hand, compared with other successful touristic cities with similar resources, tourism in Jinan lags behind them in terms of scale and speed.The development touristic resource lacks unified planning and regulation, and blind exploitation happens a lot.This paper, based on a macro and comprehensive analysis of touristic resources exploitation in Jinan, according to 'the classification, survey and assessment of touristic resources', national standard, classifies the touristic resources in order to provide a solid theory base for assessment and exploitation of touristic resources and exploitation.
