The unbalance of region economical development is a world topic, to some extent, which almost all the nations in the world face with. And it is no exception for China and Korea. Since Reform and Opening Policy comes into effect, the economy of China has skyrocketed, and the Comprehensive National Force has soared. According to this, the living level of people also has improved a lot. However, the gap between the Middle West and the East of China is widened, which brings some problems that impair social stability. How to achieve the balance of region economical development has become one of the most important issues in China. Korea, which developed very rapidly in 1960s and 1970s, also confronts with the same problem. In order to solve it, the Korean government has carried out some region policies. But the problem of unbalance of region economical development still exists. In other words, Korea also faces with how to achieve the balance of region economical development, too.China and Korea shared a lot in their own region economical development and had many precious experiences and lessons. Besides, both of China and Korea deal with the same problem about the unbalance of region economical development. In view of these, there is very important academic value and practical significance of studying and comparing the policies of the balance region economical development. With looking back on the course of region economical development, my paper sizes up and compares the different policies of the region economical developmentin both China and Korea, by analyzing with region economics. And I hope it can provide some reference information about the region economical development in both the two nations.And my paper is divided into four chapters: The first chapter, A brief introduction about my paper's background, purpose, structure, significance, methods that are used, content, and a summary of new ideas in my paper; The second chapter summarizes the policies of region economical development in China, including the historical changes and background of the policies, the distinguishing features of different periods, and the specific policy in different times including its goal and effects; The third chapter looks back on the course of region economical development of Korea, including policies' background and features in different periods. I focus on bringing forth some new ideas about region economical development in Korea in twenty-first Century; The fourth chapter compares with the policies of region economical development in China and Korea with all been stated above. And then it comes to a conclusion that may bring practical experiences and enlightenments for China and Korea to learn from each other.
