The GDP of China has amounted to 5708 billion USD in 2010. In term of economic scale, China has surpassed Japan, and became the second large economy. According to Dunning's investment development term theory, China has entered the second term in investment development, which has 4,532 USD GDP per capita. The most significant feature in this term is the country attracts a great amount of foreign inward investment, meanwhile, the outward investment still of small scale, and low level. China now is exactly in this situation. Since 1979, China has totally used 1016.2 billion USD of foreign inward investment. Compared with the above data, the outward investment by Chinese companies is only 304.7 billion USD. Therefore, the enlargement of outward investment scale, and the raise of FDI efficiency deserve more attention and efforts of Chinese government and companies.South Korea, the nation who share the same geographic, social, historic, and cultural custom and background with China, has offered a great amount of experience, both successful and failed, for us to learn and study. The thesis aims to summarize and analysis the different features in different period of FDI development in Korea economic history, through collecting and organizing the information since 1959. Based on the above work, the author provides some policy suggestions to Chinese government and companies, such as the optimization of the procures of the government regulation, the enhancement of administration service and direction, the optimization of industry structure, the enlargement of the owner, area, and focus industry of FDI outward in China, the creation of China's own brands, etc.
