Students Involuntary Unemployment

Along with the unemployment problem getting more and more grimed within the two years, there is a great difference in the graduate students'opinion between being a civil servant and being an employer in a private enterprise. The phenomenon pushes us to wonder, apart from the oversupply factor, is there any other factor that worsens the unemployment problem of graduate students? I think the phenomenon of civil servant fever provides us a clue.Starting from the explanations of the phenomenon of civil servant fever, this article firstly announces the grim unemployment problem faced by the graduate students. Then through the analysis of the research already carried out by some scholars, this text points out the insufficiency of the research that already done and decides to give out an answer from the individual viewpoint. According to the personal needs of graduate students, the labor market faced by graduate students can be divided into public section and private section. Through the analysis of the two sections, we can prove that the dual division characteristic is obvious.By analyzing the characteristic of the graduates'unemployment problem, this text points out that the graduate students are voluntarily unemployed. And, it proves with different theories that the voluntary unemployment is a reasonable choice for graduate students under the dual labor market. According to the needs of our research, we abstract a voluntary unemployment model from the reality. Thanks to the voluntary unemployment model, we find out the factors that lead to the voluntary unemployment problem. Finally, this text proposes four feasible solutions for the voluntary unemployment problem. On the one hand, break down the dual labor market and diversify the education investment style as well as help the graduates to get more information about the labor market. On the other hand, set up labor union and keep them into good order to protect the graduates'interests.
