Fdi Optimization Study With The Western Industrial Restructuring

Industrial Structure Adjustment and Optimization becomes the key task in the economic reform and development in western China at present, which relates to the economic development quality, rise of development level and transformation of social economic form. However, the economy in western China is underdeveloped presently with low industrial level and unitary industrial structure. Most of the part has not broken with the traditional industrial mode. In today's global economy and regional economic grouping, industrial adjustment and upgrade is not a simple accumulative adjustment any more, but relates closely with technology and capital, and foreign direct investment (FDI) can supply the necessary and sufficient capital for the sustainable economic development in western China.Western region needs to increase the opening force and introduce FDI to make up the insufficient local investment. In a opening environment and the premise of increase FDI scale and quality, it is of great significance to promote the industrial adjustment and upgrade in western China, develop western part's advantage of backwardness, reduce its gap with the eastern part and drive the economic development in western China through the FDI structure effect, connection effect, upgrade effect and Technology Spillover Effects. In China's presenteconomic development and structure adjustment it is a key problem how to utilize the adjustment of foreign investment policy and industrial policy to advance a positive cycle of western China's FDI industrial structure.This thesis starts from the general introduction of western China's FDI industrial distribution, analyzes in detail the problems in the process of FDI's driving of western industrial adjustment, explore the reasons of insufficient FDI in western China and unbalanced distribution, and advances policy suggestions on utilizing FDI to better adjust and optimize western industrial structure in the opening environment, considering the international trend, China's situation and western China's local situation.
