The biggest trend of international trade after World War II is intra-industrial trade, which has great differences with traditional inter-industrial trade not only in trading form, but also in theoretical explanation. Since the concept of intra-industrial trade being proposed in 1960s, by researching international trade statistics during the following 30 years, western economists have set up a strict theoretical frame and model to explain the phenomenon. So,using intra-industrial trade theory to analysis the closer economical relationship between China and ASEAN and extrapolate the trading trend of CAFTA(China- ASEAN Free Trade Area) has great theoretical and practical significance.The present situation of bilateral trade between China and ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) indicates that the process of"10+1"Free Trade Area will play an important role in accelerating none-barrier trade advancement. Under the background of the whole world economic integration and regional economic integration, regardless analysis by international division of production theory or reality economical data, as the biggest developing country, China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations economical relations will be closer. Therefore , studies of the China's economical radiation influence to the peripheral countries'economy, and how to leads the East Asian- economy to participate the intra-industrial cooperation to get the win-win result, these are the common goals of China and ASEAN countries. Following the deeper economic cooperation, the main part of trading method between China and ASEAN are also going to shift from inter-industrial trade to intra-industrial trade.
