A Comparative Study On The Competitiveness Of China 's ASEAN Flower Industry

The 21 st century, China’s rapid economic development, each industry development situation is good. Flower industry in our country in recent years, has kept tell growth, especially the export of flowers, the total has been gradually expanding. As national policy support for flower industry in China, the flower industry will develop further. But the development of flower industry in our country and the world flower industry, compared to developed countries there is still a large gap, such as China and the Netherlands planting area of about the same, but the production of varieties, amount, and the benefits of great disparity. The Dutch flower industry amounted to keep all over the world to trade about 60% of the total flowers, flower industry trade in China is less than 1%. Development of flower industry, therefore, to use economy, improving the production efficiency, research how to develop good flower industry in our country, promote the competitiveness of the flower industry in our country has very important practical significance. China and asean are been notable economies in recent years, and are in want to similar stage of development, the development of the industry of flowers and plants also have similarities, but for the overall development level of the flower industry, the development of the association of south-east Asian nations(asean), this paper mainly studies the China flower industry development situation of the association of southeast Asian nations, China flower industry competitiveness and the gap between the association of south-east Asian nations(asean), and under the reference for how to improve the competitiveness of China’s flower industry. This article USES the comparison analytic method and the method of integrating theory with practice, analyzes the present situation of flower industry between China and asean, and with analysis index, the flower industry competitiveness of China and asean are compared, it is concluded that the association of south-east Asian nations(asean) is better than that of China’s local flower industry development. According to the disadvantages in the development of Chinese flower industry, put forward the strategies of the China flower industry competitiveness. In this paper, the following conclusions:(1) in the phase of rapid development of flower industry between China and asean, its trade growth and export growth in high-speed growth, for China and asean, the flower industry belongs to sunrise industry.(2) according to the four industrial competitiveness index, the association of south-east Asian nations(asean) than China flower industry competitiveness.(3) the association of south-east Asian nations(asean) compared with China, the development of flower industry advantage in the following aspects: natural resources, human capital, national policy, logistics facilities and flowers innovation technology.(4) between China and asean’s flower industry competition, mainly in the following two aspects, the following is an object of the competition, is an export competition, one of the most concentrated embodied in the main exporter of competition, including: Japan, the Netherlands, the United States and South Korea, etc.
