Bank It Outsourcing Risk Assessment Studies

In recent years, Information Technology Outsourcing (IT Outsourcing) is getting popular in Bank Industry of China. More and more commerce banks pay attention on IT Outsourcing. Lots of money was invested into this field by commerce banks. Different kinds of IT outsourcing business can be found in Commerce Bank Industry, however, outsourcing is a two edged sword ,it brings benefits as well as risks. Only a few domestic articles have developed the field of IT Outsourcing risk assessment in Banking Industry. In order to help reduce the risk of IT outsourcing, this thesis hopes to raise a methodology for risk assessment on bank IT outsourcing.First, the thesis gives an abstract of IT Outsourcing. Then it designs a model of risk assessment on bank IT Outsourcing, basing on the analysis of general IT Outsourcing risk assessment model which have been debated in China and the character of bank outsourcing. According to the model, it developed a set of risk factors. It chose risk matrix as the main method to process the data. Father more, it used a new quantitative analysis assess method—draw lot to prioritize the factors and expose the critical factor.Finally, it specialize two examples. And put the new assessment method into practice.
