Huzhou Public Security Police Use The Geographic Information System Design And Realization

In recent years,Police geographic information system has attach great attention by the public security departments. All departments began to research and experimental development work include geographic information platform,the integration and application of geographic information technology. For unifing and standardizing national police geographic information system, Ministry of Public Security developed a public security PGIS platform and began to promote the platform across the country. In this thesis ,an integrated Huzhou police geographic information system was designed and implemented. W\ith taking into account the technical characteristics of PGIS platform and existing business systems architecture in Huzhou. The system has completed the deployment of PGIS-based information platform ,then integrated data layer, service layer and application layer. In the system design and development process, according to the characteristics of public security services, the GIS application is divided into several areas such as basic work-related business, the police intelligence analysis, decision support, emergency response, which have be achieved respectively.The following characteristics functions had be achieved:1) Achieving "one map" to ensure interconnection between geographic information systems, seamless roaming, vertical integration, and horizontal linking2) Automatic positioning when answering the alarm call3) Positioning the crime case or public order events, and setting the position to be the purpose of police point or the initial point for the surveillancetarget, according to the complexity of the site4) According to the level of security, automatically calling the appropriate security plans, simulating the real environment, leadership and command decision-making supporting role.5) Achieving visual management of the resident population, transient population, and family separationThe system improved the public security authorities of fighting crime , rapid responsing, and the effectiveness of coordinated operations, enhancing the services power of the results of public security information technology.
