With the improvement of living standard and development of society, the healthy living environment has become the goal of human being in life increasingly. Production of antibacterial materials has come to be a new industry with practical meaning.Two kinds of antibacterial materials are widely studied at present. One is the substance with certainly chemical stability and soluble property, which are added a few metal ion. The way of releasing antibacterial agent of this kind of material is slow-solution of block, it will cause the second pollution. The other one is the substance whose surface has micro-pore structure or crystal structure with excellent exchanging prosperity, which are added Ag+, Zn2+, Cu2+ion. This kind of antibacterial material will not cause the second pollution.The porous glass antibacterial material has a good resistance property for corrosion, high-temperature and microbial pollution. The required pore diameter can be obtained by adjusting the preparation parameter. The slow-soluble speed of antibacterial agent can be altered by adapting the temperature of heat treatment. At present the research of the soluble antibacterial glass material and antibacterial materials of zeolite as carrier have more, but the research of porous glass as carrier are rare.The silver-carried porous glass antibacterial material was prepared by absorption method with homemade porous glass as the carrier and AgNO3 solution as exchange solution. The antibacterial glass material has excellent antibacterial property against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aurous. The silver-carried porous glass antibacterial material was studied with Volhard method, SEM, Ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy and antibacterial property test to investigate the preparation technology and analyze the influential factor to the weatherability and antibacterial ability of material.The results showed that the optimum parameters for the preparation of sample are:the concentration of AgNO3 solution is 0.055mol/L, the pH value is 9, the temperature is 40℃, and the reaction time is 20min.The sample has a good adsorption capacity of 31.9mg; The silver-carried porous glass antibacterial material has a good weatherability, antibacterial properties and antibacterial durability after heat treatment 30min at 400℃; The antibacterial properties and weatherability of the sample were improved by Zn-doped; The research on this kinds of antibacterial materials lays a good foundation for its further research and development.
