Single-roll crusher is a crushing equipment which possesses properties of high efficiency stability and reliability. It is widely used in the sintered ore's crushing production of iron and steel enterprises.Most of crushers worked at present keep short time due to easily wore out,and there is little information about the theory analysis of the crusher.Many manufacturers design the crusher with experience,and it is lack of theories.It is complex and large,and the stability , quality is low,cost is increased.So the study of how to improve the crusher's working abilities and service life is very important and it has a great theoretical and practical significance for the longevity research and development of Metallurgy Mining-machinery.In this paper, the structure'design and improvement of the single-roll crusher , key components'optimal design and fatigue performance analysis, wear and failure mechanism study were studied completely,and the mainly work completed were such as the follow.Improvement are made on the basis of the full analysis of the single-roll crusher'structure and working mechanism and consideration of the wear and failure phenomenon and the mechanical property is also studied.Then finite element modal of the major crusher'component-hammer is established.The hammer modal'structural optimization is made with ANSYS. It is proved that the hammer'mechanical property is improved and the quality is also reduced after optimization.On the basis of structure'optimization , the fatigue performance of crusher'key parts-hammer and grizzly bar is studied and analyzed with ANSYS.It is concluded that the anti-fatigue performance of the key parts is great.Then some anti-fatigue measures for the crusher is discussed , also some reference and basis are provided for the crusher'comprehensive analysis by all these work.Aimed at the problem of poor working conditions and comprehensive load conditions and wear,the abrasion and failure of the crusher are analyzed in depth.Anti-wear design is made on the basis of comprehensive condition of the single-roll crusher'wear situation and using characteristics,and the optimization and fatigue calculation is also considered.It is concluded that the plan of the anti-fatigue design is helpful after some work such as high quality materials selection,structure improvement,suitable hardfacing technics making and industrial test.All these lay a foundation for the longevity of the design and improvement...
