At present, the study of the acoustic features are not too much at home and abroad, not to mention the connection between the acoustic and vibration. This paper are researching on the guitar, first study the vibration of guitar, and analysis it by using the finite element; then use the virtual instrument technology for acoustical experiment; finally,analysis the experimental results and get to conclusions.First of all, we makes a theoretical study on vibration learning. The guitar is created based on the equal temperament principle, so we can use the theory to calculated the frequency of each rank of each string. Through the free transverse vibration of single string we can deduce the frequency formula of free vibration string, and by using the different strings of the same sound frequency values we can verify the formula. And then through the frequency formula deduced can get to the size of the tension T for each string.which can be used for further finite element analysis.Secondly,establish the guitar solid model and analyses the finite element. This paper use two analysis methods such as harmonic response analysis and modal analysis. The harmonic response analyses for guitar strings is to get the frequency values of each six string to analyses the results and to compare with theoretical values. The model analysis is to find influence factors of the guitar sound quality in a better way, then further to find the key factors by studying its formation diagram through modifying the model, and do analysis.Then do acoustical experiment. This section includes experimental design and performance testing. Experimental design includes software design and hardware design, we used a LabView as software, program design content including acquisition, filtering, data transformation three subroutine, we get the related parameters of acquisition system through several subroutines tests; we use sound level meter, a data acquisition card as hardware. We do the collection experiment with programmed system of guitar collection,to obtain all the frequency of all ranks of six guitar strings.Finally,compare the values of the experimental,the theoretical and the finite element analysis, and analysis these values to get the corresponding conclusion.
