As the development of the technology in the field of cement, steel, thermal power, petrochemical and denfense industry, wearing of the equipment has become a important factor for efficient operation of the enterprise. It has a great significance to improve the efficiency, reduce the costs of production and save the energy by improving the wear resistance of the equipment, reducing the consumption of the wear-resistant and greatly extend the life of the wear parts. Because of this, a new type material called wear-resistant ceramic coating was produced. Ceramic wear-resistant coating is a non-metallic cementitious material. It is a powder ceramic material made by the advanced polymer technology using the acid-alkali and artificial synthesized as raw materials. It has a standard of combination strength, convenient to construction, low cost, so it is widely used in the wear segments of various industries. This paper outlines the performance and preparation methods of wear-resistance ceramic coatings. It has studied the impact of the ratio and type of the raw materials, the additive and type of the binders, curing time. The results show that: (1)The mass fraction of ingredient should not less than 40%.In this context, fused mullite is more suitable for being the ingredient of wear-resistant ceramic coating than fued corundum. The reason is that afterheat treatment the impurities in the fused corundum is easy to generate the glass, and the thermal expansion coefficient is so different between the fuesd corundum and the matrix, which is bad for the improvement of materials. Fused mullite and matrix is combined by the reaction layers, resulting the less shrinkage during heat treatment. It is also beneficial to improve the strength of materials because of the closer thermal expansion coefficient between fused mullite and matrix. The addition of the silicon carbide can improve the performance of wear-resistant ceramic coating, and it is more obvious performance improvement when the particle size is more smaller.(2)The best addition of the binder is 12%-18%. Between the addition amount, the greater the added amount of binder the more improvement of material properties. It is better for the material properties by using the CA-70 aluminate cement to be the binder than using the CA-50 aluminate cement, and there will be significant improvement of the middle temperature strength when the active powder is added in the materials.(3)The cement hydration is concentrate in the first 3 days, the moist curing is used in the first 7 days in order to make the cement hydration completed , so it can improvement the properties of materials. After 7 days, the curing temperature will help to improve the mechanical strength of the sample, so the standard curing is selected in the 7th to the 28th day. The compressive strength of the sample has been increased from the beginning to the 28th day.
