Abstract/Summary:
While machining on CNC, some factors such as vibration, shock, deformation, etc. can often lead to failure or damage of the CNC components, declination of the machining quality and can even lead to severe consequence such as stop by reason of failure. Therefore, it is of great significance to design a fault diagnosis system, based on the analysis of typical failure on CNC machine tools and study on the relationship between status information and the failure of the CNC machines to predict and diagnose failure effectively, to maintain CNC machines effectively and ensure its normal running.In this paper, aiming at numerical control machine tool servo motors, rolling bearings and other components of a typical failure, the causation of the failure are analyzed and the inherent relation of the typical failure and some signatures are found out. At the same time, according to the inherent relation between failure and signature design proposals of diagnose system software and hardware are brought out in order to achieve the functions, combined with the characteristics of CNC machine tools and data flow of the system, data management scheme is proposed.In accordance with the scheme, typical failure analysis and diagnosis system being provided with functions of data acquisition, data analysis processing, fault diagnosis, data management are set up and finally fault prediction and diagnosis of servo motors, rolling bearings on numerical control machine tools are implemented.In the development of this diagnosis system, fault diagnosis, signal processing, virtual instrument technology, database technologies are organic integrated.The diagnosis system developed is of stabilization and reliability, friendly interface, easy operation, high level of automatic test, rounded function, easy expansion. Users can easily control the entire test process by computer and according to actual requires, expand and modify the system so as to make the range of the uses more widely.
