Over the last decades, pipeline construction entered into peak period in our country, and our country put pipeline construction as the main solution of products transportation all the time. According to the recommendation of the twelfth five-year plan of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, our country will continuously improve oil and gas pipeline networks, enlarge strategic reserves of oil and gas and enhance the construction of modern energy industry. At present,long distance pipeline is developing in the direction of maximization, obturation and economization. The technological processes are increasingly complex due to the introduction of more and more technologies and equipments. Therefore, it increases even more bigger difficulties on understanding and mastering the operation law of pipeline system, analyzing and handling pipeline system accident conditions, discussing and presenting feasible design plans.This paper performed analysis on economic benefit, oil source condition, market feasibility, social benefit and so on by the market survey on Hebei-Inner Mongolia products pipeline project, combing with methods of economic analysis and engineering quantity. The results indicated that the construction of this pipeline would has great promotion effects on products markets in Inner Mongolia, Hebei and Shanxi area. In addition, it would not only contribute to solving the local demands, but also drive the whole area's economic development.Optimization analysis was performed on pipeline'trend using pipeline design-related mapping software and combining engineering quantity data sheet. Optimal line trend fitting for the pipeline was confirmed by section select and comparison of route scheme. TLNET and SPS software were used to perform process analysis, mainly analyzed oil transportation plan and surge adaptability. The feasibility of optimization scheme was proved by simulating pipeline steady flow.This paper optimized effective terminal contaminant treatment by studying the contaminant characteristics of this pipeline and combing the contamination controlling strategies in engineering application. It is proved that this method is feasible on reducing oil transportation cost and improving pipeline economic benefits, and it provides success experiences for contamination treatment.
