Batch transportation is always used for transporting oil products. The different oil products will make contamination in the course of batch transportation. Processing and marketing of the contamination are the main problem which is needed to settle in the batch transportation. Concentration distribution of contamination is the main foundation of contamination processing. Therefore, ascertaining the concentration distribution of the contamination in the course of batch transportation is very important. Researching contamination's regular pattern has the instructional effect for the technological design of batch transportation.The many kinds of prevalent general CFD are dentally introduced in this paper, especially FLUENT fluid calculation software are expounded. Based on the mass transportation equation, using the k ?εcalculating turbulence model and the method of wall functions for near wall, the problem of batch transportation is investigated with the help of FLUENT for the first time. The numerical simulation result is basically accord with the theoretical solution, which indicates that the numerical simulation of batch transportation by FLUENT is viable, and validates the reliability of the numerical simulation.The data and pictures are treated by the software of Tecplot,Origin and Photoshop,and make out the concentration distribution of the contamination in the course of batch transportation. The influences of flow velocity,transportation order,shutdown,blind pipeline,90-degree bend and other conditions to the concentration distribution of the contamination are analyzed prominently, moreover the influences of gravity to inclined pipeline are studied. The result of this paper gives a theoretical basis and guidance for batch transportation's technological design of product, and it can promote the development and application of FLUENT software in the simulation of batch transportation.
